me and my pet...

As far back as I can remember there have always been cats in my life. When I was growing up there were always a cat around the house and sometimes kittens too. My brother and I used to love playing with the kittens, they were so cute and cuddly. We often had dogs too, but thats another story. Later on when I got married and we bought our first house, the first thing we did was to go out and buy a kitten. Her name was Kinky! Kinky was a tortoise shell female cat and she was so lively and funny. She used to dash round the house and do cartwheels and her tail would go all kinky (hence her name). My parents lived a 10 minute walk away and when we visited them we would always take Kinky with us. My husband just used to carry her in his arms and she seemed to love it. My mum was cool with us bringing the kitten round but my dad wasn't too keen but he was ok about it in the end.

When she got bigger we had to stop taking her. Some time later we decided to get another cat to keep Kinky company so we bought a male cat, he was white with black patches and a bit grumpy so we called him "Boss". He wasn't as lively as Kinky and seemed quite lazy by comparison. When we first bought Boss home, Kinky got a little bit jealous. I suppose it was only natural, she had been the centre of attention, getting all the fuss and now she had be unsurped by this "runty" little kitten! She looked at him with distain and sulked for days. Boss was so small and his tail was really thin like a little pigs tail. I remember I lifted his tail to look at it and he gave a great big angry meow. When he got a little older his tail did eventually become thick and bushy.

We used to have all these little cat toys, a squeaky mouse, a plastic ball etc and used to try and get Boss to chase them and play. He used to get hold of the ball in his mouth and walk around growling and after a while he got tired and went to sleep. Kinky on the other hand would chase around and play for hours on end, even when she was an older cat.

1]imagine you are part of big orchard with lot of trees around.how do you feel being cut?

Hi everyone..for your knowledge,in Malaysia have a lot of rainforests.it’s a beautiful and one of most perfect homes and habitat forcing animal to relocate.but today I feel very bad and so sad.i think you all want their answer right..today,on this time and this place..i being cut and my friend around me too.thats a reason why I’am very sad today.i hope you all who read this can understand my position and my feeling.

2]what will happen to all animals which were taking shelter on you?

when trees being cut,automatically It destroys their natural homes and habitat forcing them to relocate.sometimes they try to move into residential areas looking for food or shelter and this can be very dangerous depending on the animal.

3]what would be the surroundings like after you are cut?

Today after trees being cut,the first effect that could be seen after significant depletion of forests is soil erosion. The roots of the trees hold the soil together. No trees means no beneficial soil. When people cut down trees, they cause an irreversible damage on the local ecosystem. When enough forests are eliminated, damage will begin on the World. It's sad that it came to this state of affairs.

4]what change will take place in the environment after you are cut?

One day,several people from government have been come to observe the situation of forest and that the same time I’ve heard from them the trees around us including me will be cutting down.It’s because they want to build up an area to be one of famous place in the world among the visitors who came to Malaysia as Genting Highlands.

5]Message you would like to give to people who are cutting down trees.

To people who cutting down trees,dont be a selfish person,it;s because trees are one of the creature in the earth.so as part of the community,we must take care the rainforest,not cutting down them because the more forest that are destroyed,the more harm is brought upon every species existence like orang utan,lion,elephant,monkey and including humanity. Cutting down too many trees will result, that nature will be gone very soon..سبحنالله

6]what do you think the use of technology in reducing and minimizing the problem?

Today,have a lot of technology we can use and give many advantage or benefit as media.Media have give many information who watch television.On this case,we use technology to reducing and minimizing the problem (deforestation). So I think use of technology in reducing and minimizing the problem is one of the way we can use to sove the problem and give the benefit to all people.

7]In your opinion,blog is able to stimulate environmental awareness among community.Elaborate.

In my opinion,we can use the blog to stimulate environmental awareness among community around us.it’s because today,all the information we need can be found from internet.In the internet we can get a lot of new information.So we can take a several part of information and elaborate to give a new idea and post in the blog.we can put an idea or suggestion to the blog .we also can put verse of Al-quran and Hadis to give new breath to all readers and we hope can stimulate environmental among community that importance to should take care the rainforest from deforestation by irresponsible people.It’s because Cutting down too many trees will result, that nature will be gone very soon..So we need all people around the world to work together to save the world from global warming and other cause of deforestation.InsyaAllah…

Students need to learn martial art to protect themselves from any enemy.In the world have many types of martial art such as wushu,Kick boxing and Silat.Firstly wushu,this martial art are from China and is include to famous competition in International stage such as Olympique Games.Beside that , one of the famous martial art is kick boxing.It’s from America and very hard to learn.It’s easy to learn when we have high commitment.Many Lagendary has born in this martial art such as Mike Tyson and Mohamed Ali.After that , students also can learn Silat.It’s a traditional malay martial art and famous among Malaysians.It’s have a several unique technique and very easy to learn and use that.Martial art bought many advantage to all people to protect themselves and people around us.

my Favourite food-Nasi lemak

Assalamualaikum to all readers,in this post I would like to share about my favourite food.To your information,nasi lemak is my favourite food because it’s a dish all people eat. nasi lemak it’s a one traditional food in Malaysian. As most Malays (not all Malaysians are Malay) are Muslim, pork or any food that comes from a pig is never used in Malay cuisine. Even cutlery and crockery used to serve Muslims must not have been used to serve pork.
They are also prohibited from consuming the flesh of predatory animals and predatory birds ,rodents, reptiles, worms, amphibians (frogs) and the flesh of dead animals. Muslims can only eat meat that is halal. Halal is a way of slaughtering according to the Islamic rites.
The traditional Malay way of eating is by using the right hand. The use of the left hand is considered bad manners. The same goes with receiving or giving things, always use the right hand.
In eating stalls or at homes where hands are used to eat, guests will provided with a pot of water to wash their hands before and after the meal. Remember, this water is not for drinking. Or you simply use the always available tap to wash your hands.
As with other cuisines, Malay food is prepared and enjoyed by all races. A staple breakfast favorite is nasi lemak. It is a simple but very satisfying meal. The rice is cooked in coconut milk with fragrant pandan leaves. Side dishes can be sambal ikan bilis , omelets or hard boiled eggs, peanuts, sliced cucumber, prawns and fried fish. If one Malaysia food can be named as the countries national dish, it's probably nasi lemak.

This is a receipe of Nasi Lemak:

Recipe: Nasi Lemak

Ingredients:

Coconut Milk Steamed Rice

2 cups of rice
3 screwpine leaves (tie them into a knot as shown above)
Salt to taste
1 small can of coconut milk (5.6 oz size)
Some water

Tamarind Juice

1 cup of water
Tamarind pulp (size of a small ping pong ball)

Sambal Ikan Bilis (Dried anchovies sambal)

1/2 red onion
1 cup ikan bilis (dried anchovies)
1 clove garlic
4 shallots
10 dried chillies
1 teaspoon of belacan (prawn paste)
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of sugar

Other ingredients

2 hard boiled eggs (cut into half)
3 small fish (sardines or smelt fish)
1 small cucumber (cut into slices and then quartered)

Method:

Just like making steamed rice, rinse your rice and drain. Add the coconut milk, a pinch of salt, and some water. Add the pandan leaves into the rice and cook your rice.
Rinse the dried anchovies and drain the water. Fry the anchovies until they turn light brown and put aside.
Pound the prawn paste together with shallots, garlic, and deseeded dried chilies with a mortar and pestle. You can also grind them with a food processor.
Slice the red onion into rings.
Soak the tamarind pulp in water for 15 minutes. Squeeze the tamarind constantly to extract the flavor into the water. Drain the pulp and save the tamarind juice.
Heat some oil in a pan and fry the spice paste until fragrant.
Add in the onion rings.
Add in the ikan bilis and stir well.
Add tamarind juice, salt, and sugar.
Simmer on low heat until the gravy thickens. Set aside.
Clean the small fish, cut them into half and season with salt. Deep fry.
Cut the cucumber into slices and then quartered into four small pieces.
Dish up the steamed coconut milk rice and pour some sambal ikan bilis on top of the rice.
Serve with fried fish, cucumber slices, and hard-boiled eggs.

In China,people believe the idea that certain numbers might be luckier than others is common to practically every culture, though it may have had a common origin in a single culture from whence it spread, or it could have occurred in most or all of the dominant cultures in a distant past, from whence the notion gradually spread to the rest of the world. In any case, Chinese culture developed the notion that certain numbers were more propitious than others, and perhaps typical for Chinese culture, the focus was on the lucky ones rather than their opposite numbers.

Lucky numbers can be broken down into the broad category of odd versus even numbers – where it is the even numbers that are considered luckier, therefore wedding ceremonies are generally scheduled on even dates – but they can also be broken down into individual numbers around which there has developed a belief, or superstition, as some might say, that a given number is lucky.

In China, whether a number is considered lucky or not is often related to the similarity between the pronunciation of the number. Though such association may seem silly to an outsider, the question is whether this is any sillier than any other justification for holding a particular, non-scientific belief about the luckiness or unluckiness of any given number (think of the number 13 in Western culture, and how potent is the belief associated with its negativeness).

The role of numbers in determining luck has a long history in Chinese culture. For example, it is said that in the Forbidden City there are 9999 rooms. When buying a house or choosing a telephone number or a license plate number for one's automobile, the choice is generally made with an eye to the perceived luckiness of the available numbers. The number 2 is considered lucky because 'all good things come in pairs', it has been observed.

Though even numbers are generally considered luckier than the odd ones, one odd number, the 9, is considered especially propitious. This is partly owing to the fact that the number 9 has traditionally been associated with the emperor and partly owing to the fact that the sound byte for "nine" is close to that for the word "longlasting".
While the focus in China is overwhelmingly on lucky numbers, there are certain numbers that are considered unlucky and which belief, or superstition, has real consequences, much as similar beliefs superstitions sometimes have real consequences in Western culture, where the 13th floor is occasionally missing from a tall building. In China and in Korea, Japan, and Vietnam, the number 4 is considered ghastly unlucky because its sound byte is almost identical to that for the word "death". Consequently, Nokia phones in China do not have a series beginning with the number 4, and similar electronic devices, from PDAs to digital cameras, are lacking a series that is either designated "4" or begins with a "4", and some high-rise buildings lack a fourth floor.

There are a few other numbers that are considered outright unlucky in Chinese culture, but these often depend more on a local dialect, via sound byte associations, than do the lucky numbers, which are the main focus in today's China.

"GREEN" is my color

My favorite color is GREEN, for several reasons.
First, we have to look at how green is created. When yellow and blue are mixed…you get green.Blue the other primary color that produces green is very calming, spiritual and provokes an emotion of unity.
Now that we have looked at the color green and it’s origins, I’ll explain why I truly love the color green.Green represents nature and health to me. I am a very active person, so in those two aspects of my own life the color green fits me like a glove. Green also represents endurance.. Running is a huge part of my life, I have run Track and still run almost every day. Therefore endurance is important. Green is also looked at as a peaceful color-I strive for this.
And last but not least, green stands for GO. I make fast decisions, I am spontaneous, I believe in being busy and not waiting to do something you want to do for you never know what tomorrow holds.

I finished High School at SMU (A) Maahad Darul Anuar,Pulau Melaka Kelantan. I four siblings and I an elder brother in my family.My brother name is Ryan Fahmi. Hi is 18 years old. We are very close to each other, although he is one years younger than I am. He studied at SABK Maahad Nurul Fadzliah,Sungai Siput Perak.My sister name is Elvira Shazana.Her is 14 years old.Her studies at SMK Sri Permata,Selangor and my younger brother name is Farizki Hakimi.he Studies at SRK Kg.Tunku.Petaling Jaya Selangor.he is 8 years old.

For your information,my father and my mother from Indonesia.My fathers name is Eri Erizon B. Sahar.He 48 years old and have a small business.My mothers name si Sri Devita bt. Yulianis.her is 38 years old.My father and my mother I and came to the Malaysia in 1991. We live together in Petaling Jaya. They is very strong and good person.They is who influenced me to go to the college. English is not my first language, so I was afraid that I wouldn't do well at school.They kept saying to me that I'll do well and that she believes in me. And here I'm at the Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor today, in Business studies Management. This is my second semester here. Now I feel more confident about myself, because I passed all courses that I have been taking and received good grades and try to do my best to keep doing it.

I'm a very honest and friendly person. I enjoy reading interesting books, watching action movies, hanging out with my friends. I like to play football, to play badminton and go to the gym. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to hanging out with my friends now, because I sacrificed my free time to learn. But it worth it in order to be proud of myself in the future and achieve my goal, which is to get an Business Management Studies.KUIS seems to be a good college, where one can get the best education and the necessary skills in their majors. Professors are very educated, friendly and hard working people, who do their best to teach us in order to become educated students. I really like this college and the professors and I'm glad that I have chosen this college among the others. I hope after one year I will get my Diploma in Business Management Studies, find a good job as a Business in the good company in my country. I'm trying to do my best to study hard and to make good grades, because education is very important to me. At this moment my goal is to graduate from LaGuardia Community College and I hope I will get the best knowledge's and the necessary skills that will shape me in my life.
